JUNIORS FINISH 5th AT JAMFEST NATIONALS!!!!

For the first time, the Seton Juniors competed in the Jazz category at Jamfest Dance Super Nationals held in Cincinnati the weekend of February 10th and 11th. The team did an outstanding job accomplishing their goal of top 5 in the All-Star Junior Jazz category! The team competed first Saturday with their jazz routine at the Duke Energy Center. Their standing of 5th place was announced and they were hoping to come back the next day to try to hold onto that placement. The junior team, who also competed in the very competitive All-Star Junior Pom category that same afternoon, were awarded a 7th place standing for their Pom routine. The girls knew they had to come back the next day and fight for their placements.

Sunday the team came fired up and ready to perform. Their excitement and energy was shared with the audience and judges. They gave two of the best performances of the season and the hard work paid off. With Saturday’s performance averaging into Sunday’s scores the girls were able to hold onto that 5th place in the All-Star Junior Jazz category and even fought their way up to 6th place in the All-Start Junior Pom. The Juniors were thrilled to be ranked with such an amazingly talented group of teams from all over the country. The Juniors want to thank all of their fans who came to show their SETON SPIRIT!
